Our 30th Annual Tour da UP is coming up fast! Snow on the ground in the UP means summer can’t be far behind, right? Please?
The 2020 Tour da UP: Keweenaw Adventure is going to be a great time touring one of the most scenic areas of the United States. We begin on August 2nd in Baraga, Michigan (registration will be on Saturday, August 1st) and travel to McLain State Park on the shore of Lake Superior just west of Hancock. Monday will see us traveling to Copper Harbor, the northern-most city in Michigan! Explore the northwoods and Lake Superior shoreline with a day off in Copper Harbor on Tuesday. Wednesday we will travel long the Keweenaw’s east side to Lake Linden. Thursday has us returning to Baraga for the final ride of the week.
Optional activities that can be booked may include: Mine tours, scenic hikes, kayak tours of the Copper Harbor coast, and anything else we can come up with that looks like it will be fun! Do you have any ideas? Let us know!
Tour da UP is an inclusive bicycle tour, including all lodging (camping) and meals along the way. The only meals you’ll be responsible for are lunch and dinner on the day off in Copper Harbor, which has some fabulous dining options! This is a fully supported tour, with multiple SAG support vehicles. Anyone who’s ever journeyed with us knows: we take care of our riders!
